Paul Maximuk is currently Senior Intelligent Building Consultant at Newcomb & Boyd. He has deep experience in building controls, commissioning, and intelligent buildings implementation. Previously worked at Ford Land where he managed smart building programs, innovation and construction projects. Paul is eager to apply his experience as an owner to help others on the path to Intelligent Buildings and successful Operation Technology projects.

As VP, Strategy & Innovation, Rick Huijbregts oversees strategic planning and partnership development to ensure George Brown College remains well positioned to evolve and adapt for the digital and rapidly changing future.

Ryan Knudson, is the AVP for Operations and Energy Management at Macerich. He is responsible for the development, execution and operations for all Capital Expense Energy and Smart Building projects as well as national program vendor management. He oversees the daily operations of Macerich’s portfolio with a focus on same center NOI growth.

Paul Bergquist holds a senior role in Business Development at SkyFoundry, the developers of SkySpark™, an analytics platform for building, energy, and equipment data. Paul has over 20 years of experience in building automation and energy management, having served in high-level positions for distributors and system integrators of hardware and software products. At SkyFoundry he helps owners take advantage of advanced operational analytics to create truly intelligent buildings.

Shuli is a globally recognized higher education expert with deep bench knowledge of campus planning, built environment technologies, and change management methodologies. She guides clients through portfolio planning and design, combining rigorous quantitative data analyses with qualitative client input and has produced over 600M GSF of campus plans for hundreds of global clients.
