CRE Cybersecurity Forum

June 14 | 8:00 am - 12:00 pm | Orange County Convention Center

Cybersecurity, as it impacts the built environment, is one of the most serious concerns for building owners and operators today. The ever-increasing number of managed and unmanaged entry points to building data and operational systems presents unique challenges associated with securing smart buildings and facilities. With today’s volatile geopolitical dynamics, highly organized ransomware attacks are exploiting glaring vulnerabilities in real estate portfolios and critical infrastructure globally. A new-found appetite for invasive technologies, such as the vast amount of new IoT devices, remotely monitored systems, wireless technologies and cloud services being onboarded to buildings, add to the new complexities of cybersecurity and privacy strategies.

The CRE Cybersecurity Forum will assess cybersecurity best practices for the built environment’s next normal and bring together industry thought leaders to address the most high-impact cyber threats and OT ransomware attacks building owners and operators face today. Much of the content for this event will be developed by the ongoing work of the Real Estate Cyber Consortium (RECC).

IB Boot Camp

June 14 | 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm | Orange County Convention Center

Intelligent building technologies that support a healthy work environment, operational cost efficiency, and meaningful workplace experiences are now needed more than ever.

Creating a unified, fully integrated smart building strategy, however, can be a daunting task. In addition to the physical infrastructure of the building, an information infrastructure that can access and interpret data from the different systems is necessary to optimize building operations and enhance occupant experiences.

The IB Boot Camp provides attendees accelerated learning with a step-by-step guide on defining smart building attributes in the pandemic era and developing a comprehensive and flexible strategy: from assembling a smart building team to integrating advanced technologies and establishing risk management guidelines.

This is a must attend event for anyone suddenly dealing with designing, developing and/or operating a smart and healthy building.

Smart Building Integrator Summit (SBIS)

June 14 | 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm | Orange County Convention Center

When designing and delivering a truly smart building, all roads lead to the master systems integrator who takes the owner/developer’s vision and aligns the people and technologies for all systems and processes in order to achieve the desired outcomes. As new cloud, IoT and data technologies are emerging at accelerated rates and integrations become increasingly complex, an in-depth knowledge of building systems as well as client business requirements are needed to meet the needs of today’s open architected, interoperable, integrated, IP-centric intelligent buildings, portfolios, campuses and cities.

SBIS is a great opportunity to network with industry peers and learn about the impact of IAQ and ESG standards and regulations, and to expand on traditional integrator services.
