An organization that has been paying close attention to AI and other strategic technologies as it relates to the competitiveness of the United States, is the Special Studies Competitive Project (SCSP). Founded by Eric Schmidt, former CEO and Chairman of Google and modeled after Nelson Rockefeller’s Special Studies Project, SCSP is focused on aligning business, academia and the government on important emerging technologies including AI. Liza Tobin, Senior Director for the Economy and David Chee, Director for the Economy will present the findings of SCSP’s groundbreaking report, Generative AI: The Future of Innovation Power.
