Farooz Alikhan is Managing Director IT of DivcoWest and is responsible for all IT resources and initiatives. With his more than 17 years of experience, he helps define and execute the IT strategy in line with the overall business strategy.



Ryan Allbaugh has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Currently, he leads highly knowledgeable and collaborative teams to design and implement technical solutions for Wells Fargo’s corporate properties group. As the former CIO of the largest private commercial real estate developer in the southeast, Ryan applied his extensive knowledge to implement technology solutions impacting the real estate industry, such as his role in the development of one of the most technologically sophisticated buildings in the world, the Duke Energy Center in Charlotte, NC.


Dr. Joseph G. Allen is an assistant professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He began his career conducting forensic health investigations of sick buildings in several hundred buildings across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, education, commercial office real estate and manufacturing. At Harvard, Dr. Allen directs the Healthy Buildings program where he created ‘The 9 Foundations of a Healthy Building’. He is also the faculty advisor to the Harvard Healthier Building Materials Academy.


Lauren Alpeyrie is a Director of Global Innovation at PGIM Real Estate, where she manages strategic projects and partnerships to advance innovation, adoption of new technology, and data strategy across PGIM Real Estate’s global debt and equity businesses. She has over 10 years of experience leading efforts in digital transformation, growth and go-to-market strategy, and transaction advisory in technology and commercial real estate.


Aaron Altscher is the Director of Technology Initiatives at Carr Properties. Aaron leads IT innovation efforts and is the architect and developer for Carr’s Data Analytics, IoT, Machine Learning/AI, and Hospitality platforms. Aaron’s 2022 focus is on IT innovation around data automation and the return to work movement.



Stuart Appley is a Managing Director in CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions Group, where he is responsible for providing executive technology oversight and consulting to clients. Stuart also has a technology innovation & thought leadership role, helping to develop, drive, and lead pilots on innovative digital projects across CBRE. He was previously the CIO at Shorenstein Realty Services, where he led the transformation of the company’s technology environment into an innovative and best in class organization.




Marlena Badway has fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate focused on strategy and business transformation. Marlena has deep real estate domain expertise, having worked with global Real Estate Owners and Investment Managers operating portfolios across all asset sectors and several geographic markets, including the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific.


Raul Bammi is the Chief Business Officer at View, the leader in smart building technologies. In his role at View, he leads the product management, business operations, sales, business development, strategy, and marketing functions for View. Previously, Bammi was the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Lumileds, where he helped double LED revenues to over $1 billion in four years. Before Lumileds, Rahul spent 20 years growing businesses at KLA, Hynix Semiconductor, National Semiconductor, and Motorola.


Chris Barbier is the Senior Director for Investment Management at Yardi, working with clients, sales, services, and the product team in delivering real estate investment solutions. He has over 27 years of experience working with global software, financial, and professional service businesses. Chris has worked in many aspects of the real estate investment management industry, including product management, consulting, technology leadership, and portfolio accounting as a former CPA.


Ruairi is a respected high-performance building design expert. His aim is to elevate the built environment and restore order to the climate for future generations. He specializes in commissioning services for new and existing buildings, building energy assessments, high performance building design, energy modeling/advanced building simulation, and measurement and verification consulting.


Porter Bellew is VP, CIO for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He is responsible for the Trust’s information technology strategy, services, operations and team. Porter has over 25 years of experience in real estate information management.



Howard Berger has over 30 years of experience in technology and commercial/investment real estate. As Realcomm's SVP Programs, he manages its US and international conferences and CIO programs. Previously, he was with The Jamesan Group, which specialized in strategic technology consulting for the commercial real estate industry and prior to that, he was with TRW Real Estate Information Systems where he developed real estate information systems for the mortgage, appraisal and title insurance industries.


Keith Berkoben is a senior Google engineer with fifteen years of experience in IoT and seven years focused on building systems. In his role, Keith is responsible for the design and implementation of technology to accumulate, analyze and act upon data at scale across Google's real estate portfolio. Keith is also one of the creators of the open source Digital Buildings ontology and toolset.


Kimberly Bertz is a change management, organization strategy and operations leader. She leads Wells Fargo's Workplace Services and Experience. Her team delivers leading edge workplaces that integrate digital innovation and responsive services and tools and environments to support a collaboration-rich environment. Her team is also responsible for critical back-end services and systems supporting lease/records management, digital platforms for real estate, properties-related help desk and enterprise event centers.


Patrick Biesty serves as the Director of Engineering & Building Performance at Sterling Bay. With over 20 years of extensive experience in building engineering and management, Patrick oversees all aspects of the firm's engineering efforts across its entire portfolio, including the management of over 80 field engineering professionals. Patrick also oversees MEP due diligence during acquisitions and dispositions, building performance and sustainability, and OSHA compliance and safety.


Gunita Bindra is the VP of Commercial Product for the Paymode-X suite of invoice and payment solutions, and a product and growth leader for Bottomline. With 10+ years' experience leading teams in developing and executing strategic products and partnerships for evolving business needs, Gunita leads Paymode-X as the solution seeks to meet and exceed the market's needs and transform customer AP functions through enhanced automation, security, and efficiency.

Rudy Bohince is the Director of Engineering and Technology for Albireo Energy . Rudy is responsible for managing a team of design and software engineers to support the sales and installation of smart building technologies. He has been in the energy and smart building industry for 15 years and has worked on a wide range of commercial, mission critical, and healthcare projects across the country.


Kristian Bouw is the founder and Chief Scientist at Notiontheory, a metaverse R&D lab working with Fortune 500 organizations globally to build emerging tech solutions. In his role, Kristian leads research and technology covering a multitude of core emerging technology components that include procedural content authoring, intelligent agents, adaptive biometric systems, real-time rendering, computational geometry, and more. His work at Notiontheory is focused on the infrastructure and presentation layers of the metaverse.


Gary Brandeis is currently leading the efforts of Vertalo in the real estate industry. Vertalo is an industry-leading solution for digital asset lifecycle management. A consummate entrepreneur, he has over three decades of experience of senior level and partnership positions with various leading CRE organizations and also as a principal partner in four real estate investment funds with over $350 million in all property types and investment strategies.


Clayton Broemsen is VP of IT Infrastructure for Cousins Properties, a REIT based in Atlanta, GA. He is responsible for all aspects of Cousins’ IT Infrastructure as it applies to the Corporate Office and Property Infrastructure including Networks, End User Devices, Security, Data Centers and Disaster Recovery.


Anto Budiardjo is CEO of Padi.io. He has been a veteran in the connected building space since 1989, having developed numerous integration platforms for buildings focused on interoperability. Today, Anto focuses on system integration in the Internet era with an online platform Padi.io. Core to Padi is the advocacy of CNS/CP (Connection Profiles), an interoperation mechanism being adopted as the open mechanism by Digital Twin communities.


Rohan Bulchandani is the founder of Retransform, a provider of proptech, technology solutions and business managed services to the real estate industry. Thomas Byrne joined Dealpath in 2022 as Executive Director, serving in numerous significant board, advisory and leadership positions across several high-growth proptech companies. Previously, he held key leadership roles at VTS, where he had most recently served as General Manager of Marketplaces and VTS Market.






Jesse Carrillo is Chief Innovation Officer for The Howard Hughes Corporation. He oversees the strategy and operation of the company’s innovation and technology platforms across HHC’s national portfolio of large-scale master planned communities (MPCs) and mixed-use properties. Previously, he was CIO at Hines directing all corporate technology, strategy and standards for the global real estate firm worldwide.

Cory Clarke leads product management at View for the Smart Building Cloud, the industry’s first complete, cloud-native platform for smart buildings. He brings 20+ years of experience bridging technology and design to deliver compelling user experiences. Trained as an architect, he transitioned to software development and worked with start-ups and enterprises on products from 3D gaming to prefab manufacturing.

Michael Frazee is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Lendlease, a globally integrated real estate and investment group committed to the creation of communities which thrive. With over 28 years of IT experience at Lendlease, Michael is a trusted leader in building global teams and large-scale security programs that address cybersecurity, technology risk and enhance operational resilience. Michael also serves on the Leadership Board of the Real Estate Cyber Consortium (RECC), an organisation focused on elevating awareness across the real estate community about cyber security preparedness for buildings and facilities.

Susan Gerock currently serves as SVP, Information Technology and CIO for Elme Communities, formerly known as WashREIT. She has over 25 years' experience in various technology roles spanning manufacturing, consulting, application service provider and commercial real estate organizations. Her specialties include ERP selection and implementation, project and change management, and cybersecurity. She is also a proponent of the use of social media and the overlapping relationship between technology and marketing.


As the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for MetaProp, Zander Geronimos leads relationships and communications with key players across the real estate value chain and acts as a conduit between strategic real estate firms and the emerging PropTech community.


Patrick Ghilani is the Chief Executive Officer of MRI Software, he has spearheaded productivity and client experience improvements while leading all client operations, including Professional Services, Client Support, and SaaS hosting. Patrick has led corporate growth initiatives targeting both geographic and innovative product expansion. With over 20 years of experience in the enterprise application arena, he has successfully managed both the strategy and operations of sizeable technology product and services organizations, serving multiple global industries, including over 10 years in the Commercial and Multi-Family Real Estate verticals.








As CEO, Don Goldstein is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, cyber security strategy, and direction of 5Q’s four service lines. He is an accomplished, award winning C-Level technology executive as Global CIO and CISO, with a distinguished 37-year career of providing robust technology and cyber security solutions to enable business growth. He possesses over 22 years of commercial real estate experience across all lines of business with the largest commercial real estate services, investment management and development company in the world.


Mike Goodwin is Stockbridge's CTO. He oversees information technology, information security and cybersecurity for the firm. He has a combined 18 years in the industry across different operational functions.


Fred Gordy is an industry expert within building intelligence data analysis for building control and power monitoring systems with emphasis on cybersecurity. With over 18 years in the BAS space, over 6 years of BAS cybersecurity and 20 years in the IT space, Gordy is nationally recognized as a cybersecurity thought leader and speaker. He is currently working with a national top 5 healthcare provider, acting as Facility Operation SME for the customer’s national facility group cybersecurity programs and is also actively involved cyber assessments for REITs, retail, US and Canadian government facilities. Additionally, Gordy has developed Intelligent Building’s Smart Building technology assessment processes and tools.


Sergey Gutkin a proven leader, specializing in business development, operations management, and master system integration. He has successfully structured and executed various strategic programs across many large enterprise portfolios. In addition, he is responsible for continuously improving and growing the IBIS firm. Sergey Gutkin continues to bridge the gap between technology and business requirements to successfully exceed client expectations.


As a key member of Stanford University’s Sustainability and Energy Management (SEM) team, Gerry Hamilton oversees the department’s long-term energy use planning; designs, implements, and directs assessment and outreach for sustainability programs; oversees business systems and analytics initiatives; and steers academic integration to aid program implementation.

Hedayat has also held leadership roles at Digital Lumens, EXFO and Brix Network Corporation. He has authored several standards in the area of computer networks and service assurance and holds nine patents.


Amy Hedrick is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Cleanbox Technology. Hedrick is a thought leader in the applications of immersive technology as industry disruptors, and brings innovation ideas and new market opportunities to Cleanbox’s smart tech hygiene product lines. She has led multiple teams from project inception and funding, to planning and execution, proving herself an effective leader in multiple industries over the past decade.




John M. Hester is the owner and chief consultant at Hester Consulting, which specializes in helpings facilities managers and other consulting firms in Energy Management, Building Operations, Smart Building Application and Program Management. He recently retired as Executive Director of Global Building Engineering Services for Warner Media’s Global Real Estate team. In his role, he provided strategic and technical direction for building engineering services across the Warner Media (formerly Time Warner) portfolio and leads Centers of Excellence (COEs) for best practices in areas including equipment maintenance, HVAC, critical systems, fire/life safety, utilities operations, infrastructure planning, work order management, BMS, electrical, plumbing and energy management.

He is a dedicated entrepreneur with 35 years of experience working at the intersection of data and analytics across the media, education, banking and technology sectors. Russ Holton leads the Building Management System design, integration, project management, commissioning, retro commissioning, functional testing, service and support for the Bedrock Detroit and the Bedrock Cleveland Real Estate Portfolio. The portfolio currently has 55 commercial and residential sites approaching 15 million square feet of integrated properties.


Jeff Holzinger is a 20+ year wireless industry veteran. Jeff is currently a Senior Director in T-Mobile’s National Development organization and oversees the strategy and deployment for non-macro deployments which include small cells and in-building solutions.
