Immersive technologies such as AR, VR, and AI are starting to play a role in creating flexible, digitally-enhanced work environments that foster collaboration and engagement and adapt to a dynamic workforce. In this future-focused session, we’ll explore how the rise of hybrid workplaces and the evolution of immersive workplace design are reshaping the commercial real estate landscape, demanding a rethinking of traditional space utilization, technology integration, and tenant experience.

With 35 years of experience, Kay is a recognized expert on workplace design and strategy issues. She is an award-winning designer who has worked with several Fortune 500 companies to optimize their global real estate portfolios and create innovative work environments. She is director of HOK’s WorkPlace team, a practice that supports organizations undertaking multiple projects in various locations, and a member of HOK’s Board of Directors.

Brennan McReynolds is the Workplace Product & Partnerships Lead for Microsoft Places. He and his team are responsible for all room and space bookings, maps and workplace management capabilities at Microsoft in addition to the Microsoft Places partner ecosystem and customer preview programs. Prior to joining Microsoft, Brennan was the Global Product Lead of Workplace Experience at CBRE. He was one of the original outside hires brought on to build CBRE’s workplace experience and hospitality offerings. Specifically, he oversaw the product development and go-to-market for one of the original digital workplace experience technology offerings in the industry, CBRE Host.


Michael is the Managing Director, Intelligent & Digital Workplaces at Accenture and has spent more than 25 years helping workforces of major companies around the world change the way they work through the implementation of constantly evolving, innovative technologies. A recognized thought leader on the merger between people, places and technology, he has an ultimate passion for making workforces more efficient and effective through the application of technology, either to how they do their work or to the environment in which they do it.
