HITT Contracting's State-of-the-Art HQ: Redefining the Future of Construction
The IBcon Smart Building Best Practice Showcase is an interactive event at the annual Realcomm | IBcon conference that spotlights the most innovative, technology driven commercial and corporate real estate projects. Real estate leaders share their vision, design, and lessons learned during the process of planning and implementation. The full spectrum of transformational technologies presented include IT and OT integration, infrastructure planning from design, physical and cyber security, BIoT, PoE and low voltage, space analytics, sustainable energy, ESG, 5G connectivity, and more. The Weekly News Briefing will feature a unique Showcase project each month.
A highlight of the showcase this year was HITT Contracting's headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. The new HQ is built for collaboration, sustainability, and partnerships.
The site is a hub for education and innovation in construction through partnership with Virginia Tech and the Coalition for Smart Construction (CSC). Featuring over 20 research and development projects within the building, HITT's mission to explore new ways to build represents true evolution of the business model and showcases the future of construction.
