Realcomm | IBcon 2022 Health Protocols
We could not be more excited to welcome you back in-person to the conference on November 2-3 in Scottsdale, AZ, as we all get back to business and celebrate the resiliency and reengagement of our industry.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, it has been our practice to not only comply with all state and local mandates, but to proactively introduce new COVID technologies that would help building owners and operators ensure safe, healthy buildings for their tenants and staff. From critical vital sign screening (temp, blood oxygen, heart rate and respiration) to air quality filtration systems, UV disinfectant and even microbial swabbing, we have introduced COVID-Tech solutions at each of the in person events we’ve held over the past 18 months and will do so again in Scottsdale.
Safety, security and health are a priority. We were very deliberate in selecting the Westin Kierland Resort as the home for the conference this year and chose this property with health and wellness top of mind. Scottsdale is known for its amazing weather and the Kierland’s expansive grounds and open-air venues will allow us to hold parts of our event outdoors. In addition to the high-level educational sessions we always provide, we’re also planning activities and entertainment that will bring attendees together for some fresh air and fun!
Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test Required
As the conference approaches and we finalize protocols that will maximize the health and safety of all in attendance, we are closely monitoring the status of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant (BA.1 and BA.2) and want to assure you that we have in place a comprehensive plan that prioritizes health and safety for all that attend. For this reason, Realcomm requires that all who attend the conference must provide one of the following: (i) proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 3-days of arrival OR (ii) proof of full vaccination.
We acknowledge that some important members of our community will not be able to participate this year, and we’re disappointed because we’ll miss the opportunity to reconnect in person. But please know that for those attendees, exhibitors or sponsors that have decided 2022 isn’t their year to return, we respect and understand your decision.
We will continue to monitor guidelines and will follow applicable federal, state, and local laws, adapting our health and safety protocols accordingly. We will periodically share updates and details with you on implementation and other safety measures that are under consideration so you know what to expect when you arrive in Scottsdale.
Realcomm | IBcon 2022 is an opportunity for the industry to reengage. We are fully prepared to provide the place where we can all come together to focus on technology, automation and innovation for the commercial and corporate real estate industry while safeguarding those in attendance with practical health and safety protocols.
