REALCOMM 2008: Education Track Overview

2nd Annual Integrator Roundtable (By Invitation Only)

Coming off its inaugural event in 2007, the Integrator Roundtable is poised to be an annual event at the North American Realcomm conference. Designed as a place for the vendor community to discuss the requirements of delivering an Intelligent NextGen building, this event is a must attend for any vendor interested in this market.

Exceeding attendance expectations by 300%, last year’s event proved to attract more than the intended "IT Integrator". Originally intended to provide a forum for traditional IT integrators, a host of other "integrators" ranging from audio visual to building automation attended the event and it evolved into a much bigger and broader discussion.

This year, taking a cue from last year’s event, we will expand its scope. Understanding that digital convergence is occurring in almost every technical marketplace, the Integrator Roundtable will invite vendors from a number of different sectors including; IT, audio visual, building automation, telecommunications, structured cable and more. As the "network" becomes more converged and more applications are being delivered over a single architecture, each of these disparate industries will need to work together in an organized manner.

The goal of this event is to bring these various organizations together, all who claim to be “integrators”, and to continue the discussions and debates required to unify the marketplace and identify the team required to conceive, design and develop and retrofit the next generation of Commercial and Corporate real estate.
