LIGHTS OUT - $mart Energy makes $mart Cents

This will be the 3rd year that Realcomm has hosted an energy track as a main component of our conference. Given that buildings consume over 45% of the nation’s daily energy resources, this track is here to stay. While the green movement has gained a significant amount of momentum over the last few years, there are a number of issues, technologies, ideas and concepts that are significant and need to be discussed. This session will focus specifically on the technologies that are available to the CIO and his/her team, which will assist them in the organizational goals of driving investment performance and sustainability. If there is a specific green technology, there is a good chance that it will be connected to the “network” and that will involve close coordination between IT, PM, FM and sustainability. This track will provide great insight on the current and future role of the IT team in the energy discussion.
